A solemn hearing took place at the Court on 26 January 2024. It was preceded by a judicial seminar on Revisiting subsidiarity in the age of shared responsibility which was attended by important figures from the judicial world.

During the solemn hearing Síofra O’Leary, President of the Court, and  Didier Reynders, European Commissioner for Justice, addressed representatives from the highest courts of the 46 member States of the Council of Europe and from local, national and international authorities.
