Solemn hearing
A solemn hearing took place at the Court on 21 January 2005. During the solemn hearing Luzius Wildhaber, President of the Court, and Valéry D. Zorkine, President of the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation, addressed an audience of about 230, including many representatives of judicial institutions and local and national authorities.
Seminar
A judicial seminar on the "Most significant or critical issues arising out of the European Court of Human Rights and its case-law" took place on 21 January 2005, at which many eminent figures from European judicial circles were present.
