Solemn hearing
A solemn hearing took place at the Court on 20 January 2006. During the solemn hearing Luzius Wildhaber, President of the Court, and Tülay Tuğcu, President of the Constitutional Court of Türkey, addressed an audience of about 230, including many representatives of judicial institutions and national and local authorities.
Seminar
A judicial seminar on the "Execution and effects of the judgments of the European Court of Human Rights: the role of the judiciary" took place on 20 January 2006, at which many eminent figures from European judicial circles were present.
